I’m a massive Rolling Stones fan, so on my last day in Nice, France I went on a long run to the infamous Villa Nellcote where part of Exile on Main St. was recorded. Read more about my trip to Nice here.
Thanks for visiting my site. I’m Michael and, like most people, I enjoy traveling, music, and food (really avant-garde content here).
First, I’m guessing that most of you are trying to figure out wtf ‘Chippychowow’ means. The word comes from an old Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan movie called Shanghai Noon, and, if I recall the film correctly, it means ‘nobility’. There’s also a very good chance I’ve misremembered the word and/or film and that it’s a purely made-up word with absolutely no meaning. If I’m honest, I just find Owen Wilson’s delivery of the line comical.
Now, with that out of the way, I’ll be forthright in admitting that I am not an expert on travel, music, or food. Hopefully, my amateur status is what makes some of these stories entertaining.
So, as it pertains to your time on this site, it’s simply a matter of if you find the content here enjoyable or not. It won’t hurt my feelings if you don’t. After all, I am rather silly.
That said, it is my hope that the stories, music, recipes, and travel tips bring you even a fraction of the immense joy that these experiences have brought me.
